なんだ、これ！？What a plant!

皆さん、こんにちは。

最近、少しずつ蒸し暑くなってきましたね。

さて、熱帯アメリカゾーンに、エイリアンのような不思議な形の植物が開花しています。

Hello, everyone.

It's getting a little hot and humid recently.

The plants which has strange shapes like aliens are blooming at the tropical America zone.

アリストロキア　トリカウダタ

メキシコ原産の植物です。

学名にある「トリ」は三つ、「カウダタ」は尾をつけたという意味です。

まるで、たこがつるされて干されているように見えます。

たくさんぶらさがっている様子がとても不思議です。

面白い形ですよね。

Aristolochia tricaudata

It's from Mexico.

Schientific name of Tori means three, Caudata means having a tail.

It looks like many octopus are hunging and dried.

Don't you think it is unique and interesting shape?
