梅雨の中休みとなったこの週末、みなさんいかがお過ごしでしょうか。

今日ご紹介するのはタイトルに挙げた植物です。呪文のような名前ですがとても美しい姿です。

I would like to introduce the plant which has a name like magical spell and beautiful.

ゴエプペルティア　バールマルキシー

Goeppertia　burle-marxii

ブラジル原産クズウコン科です。青みがかった苞の中からほんのり桃色に色付いた花が咲いています。

It is a Marantaceae and native of Brazil. Slightly pink flowers are blooming from bluish bracts.

蝋(ロウ）のような不思議な質感で、思わずため息のでるような美しさです。熱帯アメリカゾーンに咲いていますので、是非ご覧下さい。
