青空が広がり、今日も良いお天気ですね！

植物館の中には小さな可憐な花もたくさんありますが、今日は視点を変えて、見逃されることの多い高い場所の植物をご紹介しますね。

It's such a nice weather today!

There are many small lovely flowers in the museum.　Today, I will introduce the plant which you may cannot realize because it is high.

Malay gooseberry

熱帯アメリカゾーンの出口近くにあります。果実があめ玉に似ていることからアメダマノキと呼ばれています。甘そうな名前で思わず期待してしまいますが...酸っぱいです。

You can see this plant near the exit of Tropical America zone.

The shape is like a candy so we call it Amedama(which means candy in Japanese).

The name sounds sweet but actually it is sour.

植物館の中では高い位置に実がついていたり、花が咲いているものも多いです。上を向いて歩くと、思わぬ発見があるかも！？

It looks like the tree has many candies.

You will see many fruits and flowers in the high place inside of the museum.

Look up！You may find treasures!

ときわ公園
