セミの鳴き声が聞こえる季節がやってきました。

中庭には、とても綺麗でかわいい花が咲いていますよ。

The season which you can hear cicadas has come.

Very beautiful and cute flowers are blooming in the courtyard.

ルリタマアザミ　キク科

Small globe thistle 　Asteraceae

属名のエキノプス（Echinops)は、ギリシア語の「ハリネズミに似る」という意味です。

蕾はクリのイガのようにも見えます。

咲く前の形もかわいいのですが、開花すると華やかですね。

これから次々咲いていきますので是非見に来てくださいね。

The generic name "Echinops" means the Greek word "hedgehog like".

This flower's bud looks like a chestnut moth.

It is gorgeous when it blooms but the shape before blooming is also lovely.
